Leasing With Us

You've seen the monthly rental rates, but you may also wish to add extra amenities such as an additional carport, garage or storage unit.

Application Process

  1. Review the eligibility guidelines to verify that you are eligible to rent at Oak Creek Apartments. Your eligibility must fall within categories 1 or 2.
  2. (Optional) Contact the Leasing Office to schedule a property tour.
  3. Complete the Waiting List Form. A formal Stanford offer letter or current paystub showing your eligibility is required before an apartment can be offered.
  4. If an apartment fitting your criteria comes available, a leasing agent will reach out to you via the email that you submitted in your waiting list form.
  5. You will have 24 hours to "accept" or "decline" the apartment offer. If you accept, the leasing agent will have you and all adult occupants submit an application within 24-48 hours. Application fees and holding charges will be due at this time. Since the application fee will be used to run a credit check, it is nonrefundable.
  6. The leasing agent will process the application. Processing time is needed to run credit/background checks, confirm minimum rent-to-income eligibility, and verify Stanford eligibility.
  7. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will be notified by your leasing agent.

Lease Terms

Oak Creek Apartments offers flexible lease term options.

  • 6 to 12 month leases are offered for leases with a start date between September to April of each year.
  • 9 to 12 month leases are offered for leases with a start date between May to August of each year.
  • Month-to-month options are offered for leases shorter than 6 or 9 months, with an additional $200 monthly premium. The minimum month-to-month lease option is 30 days.

Lease terms cannot exceed duration of Qualifying Employment.

Lease Renewals

At least a month before your lease is set to expire, you will receive a renewal letter in the mail. It will contain your new rental rate and a link to an information form that needs to be completely filled out. You will also need to provide a copy of current renter's insurance as well as documents to confirm Qualifying Employment. If you have any questions about the paperwork, contact the Leasing Office.
